When I was in the auto repair business I would never repair a vehicle and depend on a warranty that someone had bought to pay me for the work. I would repair their car or truck and do their warranty paper work but the customer had to pay me before I would release the vehicle. I would tell the customer that his warranty was a scam and he could prove me wrong when he was reimbursed. there are lots azzholes running warranty scams out there and I don't know of anyone that was ever reimbursed for their repair cost.
