I got the 50" RZT zero turn Cub for 3K, I think it was worth every penny. As I got older I became tired of working on old mowers and it cut down my mowing time drastically. This season will be year 6 with it.
I wouldn't be afraid of buying one of the conventional riders. If you keep it shedded and maintained there can be a lot of life in them.
