I read these posts and I have wonder just how much better a Deere really is.
I had a 1992 MTD hydro with a 46" cut that I paid $600 for in 1998. I mowed 2-5 acres and sold it to my brother in 2002. He's still using it to mow about 2 acres every summer. So if a cheap POS will last 18 years and still go strong who has lived long enough to know how long a Deere will lasts that costs more than twice as much?
