Around here there are lots of IH 384,484,584,684,784 etc utility tractors of the early 70's vintage. In other areas, I don't even know the numbers really but I see IH 454, 434 maybe, really low 2wd IH utility tractors with a rounder hood that look like their hp overlaps the 84 series models. Is the 84 series being common just because of what a dealer chose to bring in back then or where some models only available in certain areas?
We don't really have 70's JD's around, there wasn't a dealer nearby. To the south of use, all the utility tractors of that era are David Brown's. To the east, lot of MF's.
