tef 20. noticeable heavy knock at low revs. worse when cold. New shells, pistons,rings e.t.c. 4 x con rods replaced as no1 was bent.originals were pressure fed. replacements were splash fed. crankshaft reground as rear main was bad. timing spot on. injectors good. tappets e.t.c. set correctly. head and sump off. cannot find any sign of trauma or play anywhere. only normal running in marks.Hard to tell whether coming from front or rear of engine although it sounds to be more of a crankcase issue than a combustion related thing. cracking the injector pipes one by one makes no odds to the knock. totally baffled as to the cause.
