I have a 1970 Ford 4500 backhoe- similar thing. My understanding is that the PS pump is mounted on the engine, and if the gasket fails, the oil leaks into the oil pan. Arabs hate you.........you are generating engine oil, reducing oil profits needed to feed their starving families! Shame on you, Infidel! Reform your ways, replace the gasket, take your savings to send them a pork sammich!
