i run k& n filters in my trucks, on my dodge i started with just the filter, and got a slight increase in milage [ it was already pretty good] but what really made the difference in milage 3 to 4 mpg, was swapping out the whole air intake system to the k& n free flow style, also if you can swing it add a good set of dual exhaust to help the engine breath 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch pipe on a 6.0 the old 2 inch common dual system will help up to about 350 ci, but beyond that you need larger pipes to let the system breath
