There are a LOT of bad bills in Macomb. Basically ones and fives so far.
I have went through a hassle at a gas station when I tried to spend one of the fives I got somewhere in change. The serial number matched the fakes that are being passed.
They are trying to catch whoever is doing this, but seem to be about two steps behind them. I think whoever is printing the fakes must spend them all in just a VERY short period of time. By the time the serial number is recognized as being fake, the only ones being hassled are the victims who have ended up with a fake.
