From a Dodge guy, thats a pretty good looking truck that you have yourself there. The most important thing is that it does what you need it to do when you need it to do it. Thems the kind of things that makes you happier.
You know? About a half year ago I bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and looking back at it, I don't know why really. At 6'2" and 300 pounds, its like a go cart to me. Its pretty small, but the rest of the family can use it. Its got an inline 6 and on the highway, it gets 18.5 MPG. Both my Cummins Dodges get 20 MPG or better on the highway. But, I have me a Jeep Cherokee just the same. Got a letter from the insurance company the other day asking me exactly how much of its total use is farm related. I don't know what to tell them. I've taken the dogs out on the property in it a few times. Its pretty small. Not nearly the cab room as my pickups and I kind of have to duck a little to see where I'm going. Dogs love it though.
Good luck with your new older truck. Use it in good health, and enjoy it.
