The ring was photographed up side down.(sorry about that)And from the information I got was ,there was a gold chain attached to the sword. and was removed so it wouldn't fall away or drag.Owner was sure there was no educational service attached with the ring owner. The new owner wanted to see a photograph of the pin. Value must be now in excess ot the aforementioned dollar amount. Who would know the value of the ring? again ,thanks for your help. Regards LOU.
