I had a phone solicitor call last week trying to sell me first aid kits, shop tools etc and after several tries I told him I was not interested. He said he was going to send me two first aid kits and I told him I didn't want them. Then he got mean and said he was going to send them anyway and if I didn't pay he would ruin my credit. He didn't have my credit card number that I knew of but I called the credit card company anyway and they told me I couldn't block this vendor from putting something on my card. Then they told me that my only recourse with a bogus charge was to dispute the charge and fight through the card company's appeal process. I canceled that card and now have another.
