It looks like Canon still makes one pocket camera with a viewfinder, the A1200. Similar to my A1100IS that failed, but without image stabilization. At a street price of less than 100 bucks, I may have to get one.
To get a viewfinder on a Nikon compact camera, you have to go with the Coolpix P7000 or P7100, which are almost 500 bucks.
Olympus doesn't seem to offer anything.
Fuji offers viewfinders in its X series cameras, which look very nice; the X10 is around 500 bucks. Hmm. Maybe I have a Fuji in my future.
