Old,e I wasn't able to try the winch. Too much snow and cold weather. Made two connection points for the trailer ball connector plate on the winch. One on the tractor and one on the ford pick up. The power out and power in feature of the winch is good but this particular winch will not allow a person to pull the winch cable out manually.Bought the 3000 lb. model from HF today which is a solid mount. This model has the free spool out feature. It was on sale plus the 20 percent discount coupon I had.
