Saw it on the news yesterday. I used to be a maintenance splicer for the phone company, and got sent on several trips for damage like that. Dangerous work because of downed lines and trees, and slick to even walk. Seemed like huge areas at the time, but these storms usually only covered a relatively narrow alley between rain and snow. And the damage they caused was unbelieveable. It's almost amazing how much damage can be done by an inch of frozen rain on surfaces. It also makes for some neat photos.
