I never really liked the way the 4 cyl. gas waterloo models ran. They sounded weird ? anemic ? We have a 4020 gas and it has served us well ! It runs fine on todays 87 octane cheap gas. Had to get a Zenith carb. though. So I would go by yours needs and expectaions and not worry about fuel types. A power shift is really going to bog you down in cold weather use. And I have hills and the park on powershifts is not well suited for hills.The whole reason I went with a gas was for winter use and I only do small jobs start it up run it out and then done and shut it off. Many times I'm done before a diesel would even be warmed up properly.
