Sounds like you have a high pressure to sump leak in the hydraulics. When the clutch is disengaged the trans pump stops. Under normal conditions the front reservoir and cooler hold enough oil to keep the main pump supplied. A high pressure leak will empty the reservoir and starve the main pump. Leak can be in any high pressure function (SCV, rockshaft, steering, brakes, diff lock, PTO). A simple check is to start the tractor when cold and let run for 15-30 minutes then feel for heat buildup in one of the functions. The warm function will be leaking internally. Good idea to put gauges on and test pto and main pump inlet pressures.
