Sounds like you have a high pressure leak, when your tractor acts up feel the scv's, brake valve, and the pto valve(remove side panel by clutch pedal)should be warm/hot but not enough to burn your hand, remove the rear plug for the three point(behind the right side scv) and look inside for spraying oil/or heavy flow of oil running down the inside of case, I'm betting on the pto valve you might get by adjusting the linkage on the pto valve(make sure the spool is bottoming in the valve. Also while pto is engaged remove clutch cover under the tractor and watch the pto operating pistons they should not move while pto is engaged. chris
