Just my opinion, but when I think how I would feel if the intruder got to and hurt my family if I could of done something about it, I know I would do the same thing as she did. If an intruder gets in my house with a weapon, he's dead if I have the chance. Sure I will feel bad about it afterward, but I would feel worse if he hurt or killed my family.
