In most aspects 2011 was a great year. Lost a very close couson, like a brother, this past fall. Managed to beat the rarest and deadliest form of pancreatic cancer, only to die from an undetected liver infection complication from the very treatment that killed the cancer. The man battled for 2 years, never losing hope, trying every possible natural and medical options he could find. The whole time he never lost faith, continiued to trap, fish, hunt, and even shot a bear with a bow 2 weeks before he died. Went to bed with anticipation of crappie fishing the next day, never woke up, infection has poisened him. So, even a bad year will be appreciated as it is one more year I was able to enjoy life, and all its joy and pain, that many others did not. Farming 2011 was a great year, moisture pattern better change from what it has been since late july, or I will be looking at some very sad crops come next fall.
