I agree with you over all. I still have my 2 sons, now in their 20's at home and we all did OK last last year. My wife and I have reasonably stable jobs, my oldest son finally got a full time job that will be stable and my youngest is still in college. We paid the bills with a little left for some fun. We did see my father in law and our dog pass away but both were at ages where it wasn't unexpected. After a miserable spring my little farm did all right. I know a lot of people had bad years with jobs, home, etc but I guess in our case no news was good news.
