For what it is worth the neighboring town had a road they abandoned and let the adjoining land owners to the roadbed do as they saw fit. The boundary line currently is in the center of the abandoned road for those landowners. It has been abandoned so long that one would never know there was a road there unless you lived here in the 1960's or earlier. I know of a seasonal road in another town where a landowner has it gated off. I am assuming that is with the blessing/ cooperation of that township.
