Turf tires and mud do not mix. After you load up the turfs with mud its like you are on ice. Then you start that slow slide down the pond bank, spinning only helps you slide into the pond quicker. Have watched the neighbors do this more than once.
I have never gotten mine wet, but I have been stuck 3 feet away from the edge of my pond. I don't go near unless the ground is dry, and I still stay off the bank.
Why? The mud will wash off, its the "walk of shame" back to the barn to get the tractor and rope, the whole time the wife is snickering.
