Had a boss at a tire plant I worked at all of 5' tall in the summer he always wore cowboy boots and a cow boy hat we called him "mini boss" in the winter he wore a blue tassel cap along with his boots.. yep you guessed it "Poppa Smurf"
One day this giant of a Canadian truck driver looked like Paul Bunion , came in he was gentle as a lamb, but he had hands that reminded you of Hams when he curled them into fists,we were all setting around in the lunch room.. He looked straight at our mini boss and said . "Ya know I was your size once... when I was about 6 years old." we never let Poppa Smurf forget that one LOL
