As you can see my name is Harmon also.In the 18th century many Harmons lived around North Carolina ,Virginia and South Carolina.My surname Harmons came to middle Kentucky around 1805 or so.Their name was Harman when they left Pendleton County West Virginia but changed by the 1810 Census to Harmon and it remains so today.George Harmon and Margaret Wiley had a large Family who have their roots in Rowan County N.C.Are you from around there?
