i agree with bob, my family also appreciates very much what our service men/women do to keep us safe. a couple of our local service groups have made a commitment to send a box with goodies to each and every service person deployed from our local military unit once a month until they get back safe and sound. we also have a rouster of handy people who will go when called to help their families with simple repairs on their home if needed. when one does return we put flags up on main street with yellow ribbons on them. this isn't much but helps to let them know we have not forgotten them and also sets and example to our youngsters that we must always support these heros. i've made a commitment not to get off topic on this website like i have in the past, but i think this subject is a worthy exception. if not i apologize to the people who make this website and forum possible.
