The case is a lot bigger machine, 14K vs. 10K lbs.
I have ran a 210C and a 580K (1990), little newer than a D (1980ish). As far as room, the 210C is like a submarine. I struggled getting in and out and swinging the seat around. Case a lot more room, still tight to the knees on the controls. Also ran a JD310D, same size as the Case.
Advantages: More power, size, etc with the Case. The 210c is gonna dig a little slower just due to size. But it will be a little lighter if you are having to get across a lawn etc.
Guess it depends what you are going to use it for. Never owned any of them, just ran them, so can"t tell you about reliability.
