Just found out that the owner/publisher of "The Shepherd" is calling it quits. It was first published in 1956, purchased by Sheep and Farm Life(Guy and Pat Flora from Ohio) in 1985. This has been an excellent magazine for all aspects of the sheep industry for a long time, there are no others quite like it. I have looked forward to the day this arrives in the mail since I can remember. This reduces my monthly publication subscrition by half. Now I only have the "Farm Show" to look forward too, I guess that allows a couple more hours a month for working on tractors, that is the only positive, the negatives are too many to list. Maybe someone else will pick it up.....I doubt it.
