I have to disagree with you--If you are referring to "Slime", it states clearly on the container that it only seals the thread ares. It also states that it is only good for app. two years and they recommend cleaning and replacement of Slime.
I bought a gallon to try and stop a slow leak with the INFERIOR Carlisle tires that came new on my Kubota. They have a common problem of leaking around bead and sidewalls.
I have had a similar problem as the original post and have decided to change tires to 6 ply.
