Know the feeling. I bought a power steering pump for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Pulled the old one off. Pressed the pulley off it and on to the new pump. Picked up the instructions and they said to use the tool that came with the new pump to remove and install the pulley or you might ruin the pump. Got to looking st my new pump and the back was knocked out of it. Took the new pulley back to AZ and asked them if it was still good enough for a core charge (65.00). Bought another pump (still no tool in box) made me a tool ( sure as he?? was not going to do the press thing again). Live and learn.
