Interesting picture. Starting about 1930-1934 the AC company re-geared some Model U's with higher road gears capable of running 40-45 mph around a track. There were country tractor races scheduled at State fairs and small towns in the Midwest that had race tracks. This was a marketing deal to promote rubber tired tractors.Difficult to say tread design but your picture may show original design used on these tractors.Barney Oldfield was hired as one of the tractor drivers and he always won. This probably helped AC tractor sales as much or more than the tire company.There are pics of these old tractors on some websites, but I can't determine the tread design from those pics, they are going too fast.
