I find that most of the credit with the rubber tire offerings on farm tractors goes to Harvey Firestone . His pioneering development was an obsession of his and finally about 1930-1935 he developed tractor specific rubber tires and installed them on his farm tractors of which AC was the general supplier to firestone.The AC U was the first factory installation which predated Firestones developements.The AC installed rubber tires came from Aircraft sizes available in that era..The tires pictured ,in my generation, was commonly called turf tires.Your slang nameing may be different.A Search for "rubber tires on farm tractors" brings up many web sites on the subject.
