Incredible isnt it. His last name was Buckles if I remember right. I think he died while in a nursing home.....I dont think he was farming at 110.
One of great grandfathers was put on a troop transport ship to fight "the great war" in 1917 but he ate soup from a can that was sealed with lead solder and he got a bad case of lead poisoning and was sent back to the US on a hospital ship. My Great granddad was born in 1898, and he died on Christmas day in 1974, I was 5 then.
