as long as there is no punishment for the crimes they will continue, only thing they get now is a run through of the so called justice system which is revolving door and there back out on the street faster than it took the officers to haul them in,slap on the wrist,pay a bail bondsman, pay a fine ,pay a lawyer or the tax payers furnish them one,cost of court,possibly probation right back to there habits plus have to try a little harder to be able to pay all the above,need to back up a few decades and abolish about 95% of the state road maintenance jobs and put them to toting shotguns with the authority to use when necessary guarding CHAIN GANGS put them to doing hard labor in place of using machinery,not hauled to job site in a/c buses either or let them lay around in a climate controlled building doing nothing, don't work don't eat,no sentence reduction either .
