looser theives

well early this july my wifes brother asked if he could store his dodge durango 2003 in my narn where i store my equip for the summer. i said he could until winter till it is time to put it away. the motor was blown up. o its been sitting down there all summer and earlier in november we told him he has to come get it out. he said if he cant get to it just pull it out of the way until he can. a couple days later we started taking some equip down to put it away and was prepared to pull it out and looky its gone so we figured he came to get it. earlier today he came over and said you were quick on getting the durango out and he said i never got it out. we said it wasnt down there. so we went down to investagate and ofcoarse its not htere but there wernt no keeys so it was in park so they had to drag it out but there were no tire marks on the floor. we called the cops and they came and took a report and so its been gone since sometime in september because were down there in sep and it was there. now we are trying to spread the word to see if anybody has seen it or anything. i have a lot of other stuff like a jet ski and nothing that i know have has been taken. the durango was in like in mint condition other than a dent and hole in the rear bumper. hoping that he will get it back and nothing else gets tookin. but by now who nows where it is. could be to china by now but how could you do that the parts are worht a lot of money.

Bummwer Mark. Two years ago someone came in our backyard at night while we were sleepung and stole our side by side. We still feel bad about it, not so much the loss, knowing someone can get in and out and we might not notice.

Now we lock everything, and leave nothing out, and still worry.

Sorry to hear about it. It's hard to believe that bad people do exist, but, they do. There are people on this planet that have no sense of right and wrong. Around here , bad people steal to support their drug habits, which maybe why they stole your truckIf I go on a rant about tougher punishment, bad parents and the need to spank kids as needed, this will deminish to political talk. I will, however, tell you that I feel for you. Most of us have suffered loss because of bad people. Oh yeah, and don't let anyone tell you that there are no bad people. There are people who are simply bad.

I know what you mean. Some one stole a field chopper and corn head of mine. If I catch someone there now there will be some instant Texas justice. I told the cops when I call them all they will have to do is pick up the body.

How honest is the brother in law? Seems to me that would be a great way to get a new vehicle with an engine that actually makes noise.

as long as there is no punishment for the crimes they will continue, only thing they get now is a run through of the so called justice system which is revolving door and there back out on the street faster than it took the officers to haul them in,slap on the wrist, pay a bail bondsman, pay a fine ,pay a lawyer or the tax payers furnish them one, cost of court, possibly probation right back to there habits plus have to try a little harder to be able to pay all the above, need to back up a few decades and abolish about 95% of the state road maintenance jobs and put them to toting shotguns with the authority to use when necessary guarding CHAIN GANGS put them to doing hard labor in place of using machinery, not hauled to job site in a/c buses either or let them lay around in a climate controlled building doing nothing, don't work don't eat,no sentence reduction either .

Had a fella around here a few years back that went on a spree and stole some guns from some of his friends and his uncle. His uncle confronted him in jail(lucky for him he was behind bars) and ripped him a new one. The thief tried to argue that he didn't know they were his guns, whereupon the uncle screamed "they were in my truck"! Always suspected there was a little drug problem behind that one, since the rest of his family is alright but maybe he was just a bad apple.

(quoted from post at 22:51:56 12/09/11) I trust God's judgement, yet, earthquakes in Sodomfrisco and Tsunami distroy buddist Japan, seems a bit subtle for some to understand. When fire rained down on Sodom of old, no one went around say, "Those things happen". I wonder if some of these bad people were struck dead from on high, would people realize, even then, where the punishment came from? What would it take for some to understand the Wrath of God?

Chicago has 20,000 more GLT people than San Francisco. Why are there no earthquakes there? Does God just not know about Chicago?

Just outside Louisville a few years ago a guy got caught and rolled up in a round baler. He had stolen it earlier in the year. Justice done, I guess.

nobody not a soul noew it was there. its scumbags around here that are lurking in the night that go around looking for things to steel. they must have took it in the night and they could have had it on a trailor in 15 min. thats what i think it is proably to china by now which is my first thought but if it was scrapped they are and even stupider person because that had proably 10 g worth of parts on it. he was siaving some money so he could get a new motor and he just finished paying for it a few months ago. we really dont have much hope for finding it but you never know and i dont need them to come back because i have all sorts of things down there. round baler, square balar, sprayer, corn planter, jet ski, a tore aprt tractor that i think my brother scrapped half of already when he lived, snow blower tiller ect. when my brother lived there was a lot of stuff but he was a scrapper and stole everything just about out of the barn and my woods. i found a peice of steel in my chopper from falling of the back of the truck that i bought for him.

The looters are cutting out copper pipe and copper wires in new homes. They would get a fraction at the junk yard for what it would cost to replace it. Hal

Around here you need: a title or you have to sign a sheet of paper with the vin and they photo copy your I.D. to sell a car to a scrapyard. check local scrappers with the vin number, you might get lucky. You'll never get the truck back now, but maybe you can make it a little hot for the theif.

Maybe he thinks someone of the GLBT community took it and there should have been an earthquake to alert the owners of the theft in progress......??
