A recent discovery if you're interested...Block heater cord from a Caterpillar 3304 will fit your Power Stroke, for about $75 less. (P/N 9N5253) Also, the pipe thread on the element is the same, but the length of the element might be different. Ask the man to pull one out (P/N 2P8821) and compare it to yours. It might be worth the trouble if you're still reeling from the prices at your Ford dealer.
