Lincoln, Nebraska, May 2011. Driving down a residential street minding my own business and got caught in the middle of a gun fight. Most likely a drug deal that went south, considering the neighborhood. I don't think they ever did nab anyone for it. Like I told the lady police Sergeant who took a statement and checked my car for bullet holes, after ten years in the Marine Corps, I'm not one to get upset over a little gunfire, you just don't expect it in Lincoln in the middle of the day.
