Went to a dealer auction one time to buy a combine. Looked at the combine the day before and the salesman told me they were going to sell the combine no matter what it brought. I was the only bidder onthe combine other than the guy who "bought" it. Came home thinking I got outbid on it. About a month later the implement dealer calls me wanting to know if I was still interested in this combine. I told him no, that I had already bought it once, since I was the only "real" bidder. He told me that they couldn't let it go that cheap. I told him that another salesman told me it WOULD sell for sure. Guess I didn't fall for their bluff, and they were still stuck with their combine for a while longer.
