Had knee replacement surgery on the eighth. It went pretty well, I am probably younger at 62 than most that get them. I went home on the tenth on crutches and Oxycontin. I was off the Oxycontin and crutches by the 21st. and able to start driving. Yesterday I started doing some light duty projects, and today I replaced an axle under a light trailer. I got it done but the last of that project was a little tough as the pain was getting a little strong so I knocked off early and came in. They send rehab people every other day to keep me pushing along at exercising. but they measured my flexing and extension each time and I was able to keep well ahead of their expectations. Anyone who is contemplating it, I would recommend it. It works better than my original, and is already less painful, and I already have more range of motion.
