Front range of Colorado small bales are going for $6.00 to $10.00 each. 4X4 and 3X3 are going anywhere from $200 to $300 a ton. Many of the growers are taking advantage of the shortage in Texas and either selling it to Texas farms at an inflated price or selling it at the same price local. My supplier took care of me this year and put up 1,000 bales for me at $4.50. That I can live with.
