My wife is like that. She is always trying to think of an excuse to let her purse pooch and two cats in the house. I tell her that she is lucky that I let the children come in. The boy who is now 20, is getting to the point where I'm about to let him go sleep out in the barn, but, that's a different story. I'm like how do dogs and cats survive in the wild? I grew up in New Hampshire, where it gets far colder than it does here in Tennessee, and we kept the dogs and cats outside. I even like one of the cats, yet, if she gets use to being indoors, she'll get soft, like the kids. While I'm thinking about this, I really need to start putting the kids outside at night. Maybe they can start appreciating being indoors a little.
