Have a JD 3020 which is giving me fits. Put a pertronix on it some years back and couple days ago it started losing power and then would cut out suddenly. Put a new coil on and made up a LED test light to make sure the resistor wire and rest of harness wasn't the source of problem. Test light indicates everything else is ok.
Question is have any of you out there had a Pertronix cut out intermitantly? Just want to make sure before I drop the money and time waiting.
