I've got a Papoose I bought new in the late 70s or early 80. Seems I paid around $75 for it new. Sort of a survival version of the Marlin Glenfeild model 60. Now i would probably sell for 2-3 times that. Fun gun but not very accurate.
I can't think of any gun that I ever bought, last year or 50 years ago - that hasn't gone up in value - or at least sell for many more dollars then I originally paid. Now the worth of a dollar today is a different issue.
I have a Hamilton "boys" rifle made in Michigan and Sears sold it for $18. Probably worth over $500 now.
