The Henrys aren't really "collectors" items but then no new stuff ever is. Their 22s lever actions are pretty nice have been for a while. The ones they produced in the late 1990s were not that great.
The AR7 was never that good of a rifle. They jam and are not especially accurate. They are an "emergancy" rifle to be used when the alternative is a big stick. They are not meant for lots of use - the sears and other trigger group parts are light gauge stamped steel. The engaging surfaces are punched out, not machined. They have to be to keep the weight down.
A much better "take down" .22 would be the Marlin Papoose.
