I narrowly averted a tragedy on the way home from work early Thursday morning.
I was able to swerve to avoid hitting the buck head on at 70 MPH but his head and antlers did take off my driver's side mirror.
If I had hit him, the air bags would have deployed causing me to crash even if the buck did not come through the windshield. No one can drive with an air bag in their face.
