I suppose this topic is about what you grew up with, because all of the post so far refer to the younger days. I would have to say I am loyal to what I could afford because thats what dad did and I have tried them all at one time or another. But, I will say that in my 40 something years of farming and collecting, I have had much better luck with case, ih ,ac and massey than any other brand. I've had a few deeres that everybody is so proud of and I must say I wasn't impressed to say the least. I've bought 70 series cases that were left for dead and done a little patching on them and put them in the feild and made a crop with them bunches of times. Same results with ih and ac. I have always been lucky to be able to see life left in all brands and been able to fix them. I have a few olivers in my shed, but there was no dealers in our area so I never used them, but I can see their advantages and love to hear those 6 cylinder engines hum.
