Since September it's been $10.00 per 100lbs of mixed steel(appliances etc). I would think that we would want low scrap prices, as those old tractor parts that we use to keep our machines running are what would be selling to scrap yards. I man in Whiteville will sell a 6' Bush Hog for $150 now while scrap prices are dropping. He won't let it go that cheap, otherwise.
