Probably not so much the dye as the bio diesel mixed with the O R fuel, really cleans up the tanks/fuel system and has a tendency to soften some rubber or plastic hoses/fittings. Mostly older equipment seems susceptible to it's effects. Some people use it with no problem and others have a lot of problems with it. May want to check with your fuel supplier to find the percentage of biodiesel in the mix. It does gel at a much higher temp than regular diesel, especially if you depend on the equipment in cold weather.
