I say you go for it. You don't have the obligations (family, mortgage, etc) holding you back that a lot of us have. My dad retired from farming when I was 37 and I walked away from the chance to farm about 300 acres while working full time. I had a family to support, bills and a mortgage to pay. I'm a railroader and was keeping plenty busy with that. I was scared to take a risk after a couple of other failed ventures. That was in 2005. We all know what the grain markets and general farm economy has done since then. That's here in Indiana anyway. Not a day goes buy that I don't have some regrets about it. If you try and fail at least you won't always wonder "what if".
