Made in the USA is really a play on words if it means "assembled in USA". That means all the white collar jobs have been exported, engineering, design, tooling, even assembly line design and tools come from overseas. No white collar taxes being paid here anymore.
American union auto workers were definately overpaid, but they spent the money, paid taxes and kept our economy rolling and all these white collar jobs were there when our kids wanted to go to college and move up in the world.
Now the states subsidize the foreign companies factories with billions of dollars and get little or no taxes, the workers make about $30,000 a year which qualifies them for food stamps in some states, and the country and almost every state is bankrupt. Wonder why?
