Jack I used to bear hunt with hounds. One day we treed and nice bear and a guy was going to shoot it. we tied the dogs back and the bear was sitting up the tree and he shot and the bear started down, he shot the second time. He didn't have tim to shoot the third time because the bear had run him over. We got the bear about a hour later and had some one else kill him. The first shooter shot one leg off and the lower jaw. Unless you are cool calm and collective I think the fetal position is a better move. Just a thought from someone who has see what can happen when someone gets in a hurry.
